Our Itinerary

We finally have our schedule and our hotels are booked!  Yay!  So here it is:

Dec 2nd:  Leave Dulles and arrive in Beijing; 8 hour layover and head to Shenyang

Dec 3rd:  Technically arriving in Shenyang about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday

Staying at this hotel...The Crowne Plaza. 

         
Dec 4th:  Rest, eat yummy Chinese food, rest...

Dec 5th:  Jia Day!!!  We meet our daughter at 10 a.m. at the Civil Affairs Bureau.  She goes home with us! 

Dec 6th:  Interview with Civil Affairs Bureau and the adoption is final.  She will be ours.  Officially! 

Dec 7th:  Shenyang city tour and orphanage visit

Dec 8th:  Pick up some documents, but basically a free day. 

Dec 9th:  Mike flies home early.  We get Jia's passport and Rachel, Jia, and I fly to Guangzhou late that night.  We're staying at the Victory Hotel. 

Dec 10th:  Medical check up

Dec 11th:  City tour

Dec 12th:  Medical check up results

Dec 13th:  U.S. Consulate interview

Dec 14th:  Receive Jia's visa

Dec 15th:  Fly back to Beijing and fly home!
